Pisac ruins!

Today, we are on day 4 of the cleanse at Sananda-Wasi and we will be breaking our juice fast Tuesday morning.

We are both surprisingly not feeling that hungry and we have time to focus on that which is most important to us. We feel more focused as a result of the fast and have a deeper understanding of our relationship with food.

Adam and I got up around 5 AM to get to the ruins by taxi because rumor has it that if you arrive around 5:40 AM, there is no one to charge you at the gate yet.

And the rumor was correct!

We were so thrilled to enjoy our time in the ruins today seeing a total of 2 humans in the 4 hours we were up there. It was amazing that we had the ruins to ourself for a while!

Later, we did a poi-spinning lesson with Nick, the Pisac poi expert. See here for an explanation of poi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poi_(performance_art). Maybe we will move on to fire poi one day when we get really good and don't hit ourselves inadvertently in the face.

One last exciting thing: We finally had access to our first clothes dryer here in Peru for the first time. Miss that, America.

Amazingly huge and gorgeous-we think you'll agree.

Enjoy the pictures!
